What the service covers on the 2015 Lexus RC FThe oil change for the 2015 Lexus RC F begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling the engine with the oil grade and capacity specified by the manufacturer. The service includes a new oil filter, which helps capture contaminants as oil circulates through the engine. The oil-life monitor is reset so the vehicle can track the next maintenance reminder, and underhood fluid levels are checked during the visit.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even when it does not look especially dirty. That is why oil service is based on mileage and time rather than appearance alone. An oil-change reminder, mileage past the previous service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup can indicate that service is due. Owners can schedule service with Nalley Lexus Smyrna.
