Recall repairs must be completed by a certified dealer to ensure OEM parts and a manufacturer-approved remedy; Nalley Lexus Smyrna is a certified Lexus franchise that performs these repairs correctly. Repair time varies, but most fuel-pump recall repairs are typically completed in a few hours to a day depending on parts availability. Nalley Lexus Smyrna will provide an estimated turnaround when you schedule appointment; some campaigns require parts that may extend the timeline until the remedy is available. We offer convenient scheduling, loaner options when available, and will notify you about parts and expected completion; check current offers under our service specials.
Does an open recall affect my 2016 Lexus LS 460's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can reduce buyer confidence and may negatively impact trade-in or resale value; resolving recalls protects value and buyer trust. Many buyers and dealers check NHTSA recall status before purchase; having recall repairs completed at Nalley Lexus Smyrna shows documented, factory-performed work and preserves value. To protect resale value, get recalls resolved at our dealership and consider a free appraisal at sell-your-car-online.htm when you are ready to trade.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2016 Lexus LS 460 recall?
State inspection rules vary, but safety-related recalls — like potential fuel pump failures that can cause engine stall — can be flagged during inspections or by insurance or registration authorities. Addressing recalls promptly at Nalley Lexus Smyrna reduces the risk of inspection issues and may be required by insurers or state regulators in some cases.
