What the service covers on the 2016 Lexus NX 300hAn oil change for the 2016 Lexus NX 300h begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling it with the oil grade and capacity specified by the manufacturer. The visit also includes a new oil filter, an oil life monitor reset, and a check of the underhood fluid levels. These steps help maintain the lubrication and monitoring systems that support everyday engine operation.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even before it looks dirty. That is why the manufacturer's schedule is based on mileage and time rather than appearance. The manufacturer's published interval for this model year is every 10,000 miles for both engine oil and the oil filter.
An oil-change reminder light, mileage past the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup can indicate that service is due. Nalley Lexus Smyrna invites owners to schedule service for the 2016 Lexus NX 300h.
