2018 Lexus ES 350 Tires in Smyrna, GA | Nalley Lexus Smyrna

For the 2018 Lexus ES 350, the manufacturer's published maintenance schedule calls for wheel and tire rotation every 5,000 miles. Regular visits help identify uneven wear before it becomes more noticeable. An inspection can also account for the tires actually fitted and the vehicle's service history.

• Rotation helps even wear across all four tires.
• Tread depth should be checked at every tire service.
• Pressure and the tire pressure monitoring system are checked after rotation.

The inspection covers all four tires so wear can be compared from corner to corner. Nalley Lexus Smyrna can recommend rotation or replacement based on what the inspection finds. This approach keeps the recommendation tied to current tire condition.

• Tread depth is measured on all four tires.
• The rotation follows the applicable drivetrain and tire requirements.
• Pressure is set to the placard specification on the vehicle.

The available vehicle details identify the 2018 Lexus ES 350 as a V6 sedan but do not establish a drivetrain configuration. The service team should confirm the drivetrain and inspect the tires actually fitted before selecting a pattern. That check helps ensure the rotation is appropriate for the vehicle.

• Drivetrain affects how the tires are used and rotated.
• Directional tread can limit tire movement between positions.
• Staggered fitments can require a different rotation approach.

A tire inspection can compare tread and condition across the set before replacement is recommended. On an all-wheel-drive vehicle, mismatched tread depth can load the driveline, which is why replacement decisions differ from those for a two-wheel-drive vehicle. The drivetrain for this vehicle should be confirmed during service rather than assumed.

• Compare tread wear across all four tires.
• Check for uneven wear, vibration, or visible condition concerns.
• Use the vehicle's service history to guide the recommendation.

A penny test is another general check a driver can perform, but it does not replace a complete inspection. Nalley Lexus Smyrna can measure tread depth on all four tires and assess whether rotation or replacement is appropriate. The tires' actual condition determines the recommendation.

• Look for tread wearing unevenly across the set.
• Pay attention to vibration at highway speed.
• Check whether a molded tread-depth indicator is level with the tread.
