What the service covers on the 2018 Lexus GS 450hAn oil change for the 2018 Lexus GS 450h begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling it with the grade and capacity specified by the manufacturer. The service includes a new oil filter, a reset of the oil life monitor, and a check of the underhood fluid levels. These steps help document the visit and support consistent maintenance for the vehicle.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even before it appears dirty. That is why the manufacturer’s schedule calls for changing the engine oil and replacing the oil filter every 10,000 miles. Drivers may notice an oil-change reminder light, mileage beyond the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at start-up. Drivers can schedule service for the 2018 Lexus GS 450h at Nalley Lexus Smyrna.
