8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row?
The NHTSA has issued 13 recalls affecting the 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row, covering the fuel pump (4 recalls), seat belt sensor wiring (7 recalls), air bag assemblies (1 recall), and fuel tank/fuel pump assembly (1 recall). These recalls come from NHTSA records and include potential fuel-pump failures that can cause an engine stall and seat-belt sensor wiring that can deactivate passenger airbags. Nalley Lexus Smyrna monitors NHTSA updates and offers free, factory-authorized recall repairs using OEM parts and factory-trained technicians.
How do I check if my 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row has an open recall?
You can check your vehicle's status by entering your VIN at NHTSA.gov or bring your VIN to our service department for a free check. If you prefer, call Nalley Lexus Smyrna and we will verify your VIN, confirm any open recalls, and help you schedule service. We also post recall-related service specials — check our service specials page for any available conveniences while your vehicle is in for recall work.
How much does a 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs are performed free of charge to the vehicle owner and are covered by Lexus/Toyota. Nalley Lexus Smyrna performs recall repairs at no cost using OEM parts and factory diagnostic tools; incidental services outside the recall scope may have separate charges. We offer service financing to help with non-recall repairs so you can get necessary work done now and pay later — ask our service advisors when you schedule service.
Can I get my 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be performed at a certified franchise dealer to ensure OEM parts and factory warranty compliance; a dealer is the safest choice for recall work. Nalley Lexus Smyrna is a factory-authorized Lexus dealer with factory-trained technicians, OEM parts, and access to Lexus dealer remedies required under NHTSA recalls. For convenience, you can schedule appointment online or review current offers on our service specials page.
How long does a 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row recall repair take?
Most recall repairs are completed the same day or within one business day, but exact times vary by recall and parts availability. We recommend scheduling early and checking our service specials for shuttle or loaner options while your vehicle is in for recall work.
Does an open recall affect my 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row's trade-in or resale value?
Yes. Unresolved recalls can reduce trade-in and resale value because many buyers and dealers check NHTSA records before purchase. Having recall repairs completed at Nalley Lexus Smyrna protects your vehicle's value and provides documented proof of OEM recall remedy using factory parts. If you are considering selling or trading your vehicle, visit our trade-in page at sell your car online to get an appraisal after recalls are cleared.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three-Row recall?
Open recalls themselves typically do not cause a state inspection failure, but safety-related defects — such as disabled airbags due to seat-belt sensor wiring — may affect inspection outcomes or safety compliance. NHTSA-specified air bag or seat-belt issues can create insurance or inspection complications; resolving recalls at Nalley Lexus Smyrna helps ensure safety and compliance. Call our service team to confirm your recall status and schedule service — we provide VIN checks at no charge and can advise about inspection risks.
