Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2019 Lexus GS F?
The NHTSA has issued 5 recalls affecting the 2019 Lexus GS F (three for the fuel pump system and two for the fuel tank systems). These recalls relate to possible fuel pump pulsation damper damage and potential fuel leakage, which can increase a fire risk.
How do I check if my 2019 Lexus GS F has an open recall?
You can check by entering your VIN at NHTSA.gov or bring the vehicle to Nalley Lexus Smyrna and we will check for free. To have us verify and act immediately, schedule service and we will confirm recall status at no charge.
How much does a 2019 Lexus GS F recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs for the 2019 Lexus GS F are performed free of charge at an authorized dealer. If you need additional non-recall work, ask about our service financing to get service now and pay later and check our service specials.
Can I get my 2019 Lexus GS F recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be performed by an authorized franchise dealer to ensure OEM parts and factory procedures; Nalley Lexus Smyrna is your local certified Lexus dealer for recall repairs near Smyrna. Independent shops cannot perform official manufacturer recall repairs that update factory records and warranty files.
How long does a 2019 Lexus GS F recall repair take?
Repair time varies, but replacement of high-pressure fuel pumps or related fuel system components is often completed in a few hours to one day depending on parts availability. When you schedule service, we provide an estimated turnaround and expedite parts through OEM channels if needed.
Does an open recall affect my 2019 Lexus GS F's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can negatively affect trade-in offers and resale because many buyers and dealers verify NHTSA records before purchase. Resolving recalls at Nalley Lexus Smyrna protects value—see our trade-in tool at sell-your-car-online.htm.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2019 Lexus GS F recall?
Some states or safety inspections may cite unresolved safety recalls if they relate to emissions or safety-critical fuel systems; addressing recalls reduces inspection risk. If you need assistance, schedule service with Nalley Lexus Smyrna and we will advise whether the recall affects your inspection status.
