What the service covers on the 2019 Lexus LC 500The oil change service for the 2019 Lexus LC 500 begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling the engine with the oil specified by the manufacturer. A new oil filter is installed to help capture contaminants as oil circulates through the engine. The oil life monitor is reset, and underhood fluid levels are checked as part of the visit.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even when it does not look especially dirty. That is why maintenance follows mileage and time rather than appearance alone. Drivers may notice an oil-change reminder light, mileage beyond the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup. The manufacturer’s interval for this year is every 5,000 miles for both engine oil and the oil filter. Drivers can schedule service with Nalley Lexus Smyrna when maintenance is due.
