8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2019 Lexus LC 500?
The NHTSA has issued 16 recalls affecting the 2019 Lexus LC 500, including 11 fuel pump recalls, 4 fuel tank recalls, and 1 stability control recall. These recalls address fuel pump and fuel tank issues that can cause engine stall and, in one instance for similar 5.0L V8 engines, a high-pressure pump cover fatigue crack that could lead to a fuel leak and fire risk; the stability control recall involves a brake booster pump that can deactivate stability control and reduce braking assist. All corrective actions are being handled by Lexus/Toyota dealers at no charge; for official details see NHTSA or contact Lexus customer service at 1-800-255-3987.
How do I check if my 2019 Lexus LC 500 has an open recall?
You can check recall status quickly by VIN at NHTSA.gov or by contacting Nalley Lexus Smyrna's service team. Nalley Lexus Smyrna is a factory-authorized Lexus dealer with OEM diagnostic tools and manufacturer training; we recommend scheduling your free recall repair with our certified team to preserve safety and resale value.
How long does a 2019 Lexus LC 500 recall repair take?

When you schedule service we will provide an estimated turnaround time; Nalley Lexus Smyrna offers courtesy drop-off, work updates, and service financing if you need payment options now and pay later.
Does an open recall affect my 2019 Lexus LC 500's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can negatively impact trade-in offers and buyer confidence because many buyers and some dealers check NHTSA records before purchase. Resolving recalls at Nalley Lexus Smyrna protects your vehicle's value; for a quick appraisal or trade estimate visit our trade-in page and schedule a visit to have recall work documented on your service history.
