8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2019 Lexus LX 570?
The NHTSA has issued 13 recalls affecting the 2019 Lexus LX 570 covering fuel pump assemblies, fuel tank/fuel pump related issues, seat belt sensor harnesses, and an air bag assembly concern. Specifically, fuel pump-related recalls (including expansions) and a fuel tank recall address potential fuel pump failure and engine stall (Toyota/Lexus recall numbers include 20TA02/20LA01 and related campaign numbers); seat belt recalls cover a potentially broken seat belt tension sensor wire harness that can deactivate passenger air bags; and an air bag recall covers incorrect driver or front passenger air bag assemblies. These items are documented in NHTSA records and summarized below. If you want us to verify your vehicle’s status, you can schedule service at Nalley Lexus Smyrna and we will check your VIN at no charge; recall repairs are performed free under the manufacturer program.
How do I check if my 2019 Lexus LX 570 has an open recall?
You can check your VIN at NHTSA.gov for official recall status or bring your VIN to Nalley Lexus Smyrna for a free dealer check. If you prefer dealer assistance, bring your VIN or vehicle to our service department or schedule appointment online; we use OEM diagnostic tools and the manufacturer portal to confirm open recalls and advise next steps.

Manufacturer recall repairs for the 2019 Lexus LX 570 are performed at no cost to the vehicle owner. Nalley Lexus Smyrna is an authorized Lexus franchise and will perform recall repairs free of charge using OEM parts and factory-trained technicians; check our current service specials for complementary services and ask about available service financing if you need to defer other maintenance.
Can I get my 2019 Lexus LX 570 recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be performed by an authorized dealer to ensure OEM parts, correct software updates, and manufacturer records—choose a certified dealer for proper recall completion. Nalley Lexus Smyrna is a certified Lexus dealer with factory-trained technicians, manufacturer tools, and direct access to Lexus parts and service bulletins; we recommend scheduling with your local certified Lexus dealer for recall work to preserve safety, warranty, and repair history.
How long does a 2019 Lexus LX 570 recall repair take?
Repair time varies by recall: many fuel pump or fuel tank assembly replacements can take a few hours, while sensor or air bag assembly replacements may take longer—most recall remedies are completed same-day or within one business day when parts are available. We recommend you schedule service with Nalley Lexus Smyrna so we can confirm parts availability and provide a specific turnaround estimate; our service advisors will also notify you of any interim notices and provide a loaner or shuttle options when available.
Does an open recall affect my 2019 Lexus LX 570's trade-in or resale value?
Yes—unresolved recalls can lower trade-in offers and deter private buyers because many dealers and buyers check NHTSA records during appraisal or purchase decisions. Having recall work completed at Nalley Lexus Smyrna restores buyer confidence, preserves resale value, and is documented in the vehicle’s service history; if you’re preparing to trade or sell, use our online appraisal tool at sell-your-car-online.htm after recalls are repaired to maximize value.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2019 Lexus LX 570 recall?
Some recalls—especially those that affect occupant restraints or emissions-related components—can influence inspection outcomes or safety compliance; unresolved safety recalls can be flagged by inspectors or buyers. Nalley Lexus Smyrna recommends addressing recalls promptly to avoid inspection issues; contact our service team or schedule service and ask about service financing to handle any immediate repairs or maintenance.
