What the service covers on the 2019 Lexus NX 300The oil-change service for the 2019 Lexus NX 300 begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling it with the oil grade and capacity the manufacturer specifies. A new oil filter is installed to support clean oil circulation. The oil life monitor is reset, and the underhood fluid levels are checked as part of the visit. Booking the service also creates a record of the oil and filter replacement in the vehicle's history.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even when it does not appear dirty. That is why the manufacturer bases service timing on mileage and time rather than appearance. The 2019 Lexus NX 300 may be due when the oil-change reminder illuminates, the mileage has passed the last service point, the dipstick oil appears dark or low, or the engine sounds ticking or louder at startup. Drivers can schedule service with Nalley Lexus Smyrna.
