What the service covers on the 2020 Lexus IS 300The oil change service for the 2020 Lexus IS 300 begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling it with the grade and capacity specified for the vehicle. A new oil filter is installed as part of the visit. The oil life monitor is reset, and the underhood fluid levels are checked so the vehicle leaves with its routine maintenance steps addressed.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even when it does not appear especially dirty. That is why the manufacturer's schedule for the 2020 Lexus IS 300 is based on mileage and time rather than appearance. Drivers may notice an oil-change reminder light, mileage past the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup. Nalley Lexus Smyrna invites owners to schedule service for the 2020 Lexus IS 300.
