What the service covers on the 2020 Lexus LX 570During an oil change for the 2020 Lexus LX 570, the existing engine oil is drained and replaced with the grade and capacity specified by the manufacturer. A new oil filter is installed, the oil life monitor is reset, and underhood fluid levels are checked. These steps support routine engine care and document the visit in the vehicle's service history.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even when it does not appear heavily contaminated. That is why the maintenance interval is based on mileage and time rather than appearance. The manufacturer's published schedule calls for changing the engine oil every 10,000 miles and replacing the oil filter every 10,000 miles.
An oil-change reminder light, mileage beyond the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup can indicate that service is due. Drivers can schedule service for the 2020 Lexus LX 570 with Nalley Lexus Smyrna.
