What the service covers on the 2023 Lexus ES 350An oil change for the 2023 Lexus ES 350 begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling it with the grade specified for the engine. The service also includes a new oil filter, a reset of the oil life monitor, and a check of the underhood fluid levels. These steps help maintain the oil’s ability to manage heat and carry debris as the vehicle is driven.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and heat-carrying ability, which is why the manufacturer bases maintenance on mileage and time rather than appearance. The manufacturer’s schedule calls for changing the engine oil every 10,000 miles and replacing the oil filter every 10,000 miles. An oil-change reminder light, mileage past the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup can indicate that service is due. Drivers can schedule service for the 2023 Lexus ES 350 with Nalley Lexus Smyrna.
