Frequently Asked Questions

12 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2024 Lexus LC?
The NHTSA records show 16 recall entries related to fuel pump, fuel tank and stability control systems that can affect the 2024 Lexus LC. Those entries include 11 fuel pump-related recalls, 4 fuel tank-related recalls, and 1 stability control/brake booster pump recall documented by the NHTSA. Consequences listed by the manufacturer include engine stall and, in some high-pressure pump cases, potential fuel leakage that can increase fire risk; Nalley Lexus Smyrna will perform the required repairs free under the recall program.
How do I check if my 2024 Lexus LC has an open recall?
You can check your VIN at NHTSA.gov or bring your VIN to the dealer and we will check it for free. For a quick in-person check, bring your VIN to Nalley Lexus Smyrna or use our online tools and we will confirm open recalls at no charge. If you prefer to call, Lexus customer service is available at 1-800-255-3987; to book a visit you can schedule service with our factory-trained team.
How much does a 2024 Lexus LC recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs are free of charge to the vehicle owner. Nalley Lexus Smyrna will perform the corrective work at no cost when the recall applies to your VIN, using OEM parts and factory diagnostics. If you need service beyond a recall repair, ask about our current service specials and available service financing via our pre-approval page so you can get work done now and pay later.
Can I get my 2024 Lexus LC recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be performed by an authorized dealer to ensure OEM parts and documented corrective actions; a franchise dealer is the safest choice. Nalley Lexus Smyrna is a certified Lexus franchise with factory-trained technicians and OEM diagnostic tools required to complete recall remedies correctly and document the repair with the manufacturer. If you have questions about warranty documentation or parts, contact our service team or schedule appointment and we will verify the proper remedy for your VIN.
How long does a 2024 Lexus LC recall repair take?
Typical recall repairs vary from brief part replacements to longer diagnostic work; many fuel system remedies can be completed in a few hours, while some parts availability issues can extend turnaround. When you arrive at Nalley Lexus Smyrna we will give a realistic time estimate based on the specific recall remedy for your VIN and, where possible, expedite parts and labor for local customers from Smyrna, Roswell, Alpharetta and the greater Atlanta area. To minimize disruption, please schedule service and ask our advisors about loaner options or shuttle service when available.
Does an open recall affect my 2024 Lexus LC's trade-in or resale value?
Unresolved recalls can negatively impact trade-in and resale value because many buyers and dealers check NHTSA records before purchase. Having recalls completed at a certified dealer like Nalley Lexus Smyrna documents the repair and protects value; use our trade-in appraisal portal to see how completed recall work supports a stronger offer: get an appraisal.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2024 Lexus LC recall?
Some recalls—especially those affecting emissions or safety systems—can influence inspection outcomes depending on state requirements. While not every recall will cause a failed inspection, ignoring safety-related recalls (like fuel pump or stability control issues) increases infection risk and potential insurance or regulatory complications; contact Nalley Lexus Smyrna if you have inspection concerns.
