What the service covers on the 2025 Lexus ISAn oil change for the 2025 Lexus IS starts with draining the used engine oil and refilling the engine with the oil grade specified by the manufacturer. The visit includes a new oil filter, a reset of the oil life monitor, and a check of the underhood fluid levels. These steps support proper lubrication and help the engine carry heat and debris before the oil’s additive package becomes depleted.
The service may be due when the oil-change reminder illuminates or mileage has passed since the last visit. Dark or low oil on the dipstick, along with a ticking or louder engine note at startup, can also signal that an inspection is appropriate. The manufacturer’s interval for the 2025 Lexus IS is every 10,000 miles for both engine oil and the oil filter. Drivers can schedule service with Nalley Lexus Smyrna, and the completed visit is logged against the vehicle’s history.
